A LIS solution doesn’t stand on its own. Modern enterprise information systems must bi-directionally communicate with other health IT systems and EMRs (Electronic Medical Record systems), and be able to integrate within the connected health system landscape. Our interface team are HL7 experts and have years of experience designing, building and implementing robust laboratory Order and Results interfaces. The mTilda LIMS has production interfaces with leading EMR vendors, institutional LIMS solutions and custom health IT systems.

EMR Integrate supports bi-directional HL7 Orders and Results and has been successfully deployed with leading LIMS and EMR systems. Our team has years of experience integrating PDF results, as well as discrete HLA data into clinical systems and EMRs to optimize physician workflows, reduce turn-around time and reduce manual entry for HLA labs.

    • and more…

We strongly believe that interoperability is the most important factor for a lab to run efficiently, effectively and to avoid errors. This is why we have developed a framework that offers “a closed loop” approach where an electronic clinical test order is received directly from the hospital’s EMR, processed in mTilda core LIMS, and test results data are electronically sent back to the EMR – all without requiring manual data entry by the lab. EMR Integrate can also be extended to use Order Status messages, HL7 Billing, and ADT messages for demographics integration between the EMR and mTilda LIMS.

Below is an image of a typical interoperability framework.
